About Our Online Medical Sciences Programs
Who We Are
Our online medical sciences programs are offered by the University of Florida College of Medicine, a national leader in medical education, research and patient care since it opened in 1956.
Today, the College has 27 clinical and foundational science departments, home to recognized leaders in fields ranging from physiology and pharmacology to aging research and anatomy.
Our Mission
We’re here to create a healthier world by preparing the next generation of scientists, educators and healthcare professionals to make a real impact. That mission shapes everything about how we built these programs: rigorous coursework, esteemed faculty and an accessible format that lets more students benefit from a UF education.
Why We Built These Programs Online
Not everyone can pause a job, move across the country or rearrange family life to pursue a graduate degree, but that shouldn’t mean settling for a lesser education. We designed our online master’s degrees and graduate certificates to deliver the same rigor, faculty expertise and academic standards as our in-person programs, just without the commute.
Whether you’re preparing for the MCAT; strengthening your application for med, dental or PA school; or advancing your career in biotech, research or education, these programs meet you where you are.
What Sets Us Apart
- Same faculty, same standards. You’ll learn from the same esteemed UF faculty who teach in person.
- Backed by a top-50 university. UF’s reputation and research infrastructure carry the same weight whether your degree was earned online or on campus.
- Built around real careers. We designed our programs for students headed into medical school, PA programs, biotech and education, so coursework reflects what those paths actually require.
- A flexible but connected experience. You’ll engage directly with professors and classmates, not just prerecorded lectures.
